Abstract: Aiming at the shortcomings of the existing grid connected elevator energy saving technology, the energy storage elevator system based on the super capacitor energy storage device is designed. The storage and utilization of elevator feedback energy is realized through DC-DC converter. Meanwhile, for elevator system, the parameters of super capacitor energy storage device are designed and analyzed. The simulation and prototype experiment results show that the system can achieve effective utilization of the feedback energy, the energy saving effect is 26%, and maintain the stability of the original torque and speed. The super capacitor energy storage device has no impact on the comfort and safety of the original elevator system.
